Hatim T. Burhani, DPM, FACFAS

Board-certified podiatrist and foot and ankle surgeon Hatim Burhani, DPM, FACFAS, brings considerable experience in all aspects of podiatric medicine to Eastside Podiatry PLLC in St. Clair Shores and Fraser, Michigan, serving men, women, and families throughout Macomb county.

Dr. Burhani was born in Karachi, Pakistan, and grew up in the Detroit metropolitan area. He began his professional pursuits at the University of Michigan-Dearborn where he earned his undergraduate degree in pre-med and computer science, graduating with honors. 

Dr. Burhani subsequently enrolled at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Independence, Ohio, where he obtained his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. Before entering private practice, he completed a podiatric surgical and reconstructive residency at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, Michigan.

As a podiatrist, Dr. Burhani has special interests in ankle arthroscopy, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, diabetic limb salvage, and advanced wound care techniques. He’s also a proud fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Burhani holds privileges at several hospitals in the Detroit, Michigan, area including St. John Moross Hospital and Medical Center, St. John Moross Wound Care and Amputation Prevention Center, Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital, St. John Macomb Wound Care Center, and St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital and Medical Center.

Dr. Burhani loves getting to know his patients and improving their quality of life. This attention to detail hasn’t gone unnoticed either. He earned the title of Best Podiatrist In Michigan in 2016.

Dr. Burhani resides in Livonia, Michigan.
